The San Francisco Bay Area Collaborative Practice Group is an association of highly experienced family law attorneys who have specialized in Collaborative Law and interdisciplinary Collaborative Divorce practice for over a decade.

Members of SFBCPG have taken leadership roles in advancing Collaborative Practice throughout the world through writing, training, speaking and board and committee positions in the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. The group meets regularly to share experiences, to explore ways of enhancing collaborative legal services to clients, to study emerging research about effective collaborative conflict resolution techniques, and to mentor one another. The members share a deep commitment to excellence in collaborative legal conflict resolution, and all are highly trained and experienced in providing highest quality collaborative conflict resolution services to divorcing clients.

The size of the San Francisco Bay Area Collaborative Practice Group is limited so that its members have been able to become very familiar with one another’s professional styles, as well as their personal and professional ethics. All members know and trust one another’s commitment to collaborative practice and skill and experience in successful collaboration. If people seeking professional assistance in their separation process both agree to select lawyers who are highly experienced leaders in their field, who trust one another, and who have a history of working together, they can greatly enhance their prospects for moving respectfully, amicably and civilly through the divorce process to an agreement that is custom-tailored to fit their unique needs and values.
